Maddy Having Fun

Thursday I took the girls to the mall to meet some friends from our playgroup at Inflatable Wonderland. IW is one of those places that has the big bounce houses for kids to jump and climb on. We met up with Ashley and Kaitlyn, and their moms of course. They all had so much fun! We got there around 10:30 and let the girls play for an hour or so before going to lunch at the food court. Then we came back to IW to play some more. We finally came home around 2:00.

Then today we went to the MOMS Club Valentine Party. Kids exchanged valentine cards, picked up candy from our Valentine Treat Train, and just pigged out on all the food.

Here are Maddy, Kaitlyn, and Ashley playing while Liam watches. This was before they were all sugared up so they're actually sitting and playing together instead of running around.



This is the Valentine Treat Train. We decorated shoeboxes like train cars and filled them with candy. Then the kids got to got to each box and fill their bags. Maddy's not in the first picture because she thought she could only get candy from the box we brought. She had grabbed a few pieces of Hershey's Kisses and headed off to the living room to eat. I explained to her that we were all sharing candy and walked with her down the train so she could get more candy.







The next few days are going to be fun trying to keep all the candy out of Maddy's reach. She's tall enough to reach things on the cabinets that are close to the edge, and she figured out how to move her little stool over to the kitchen so she can stand on that too. So far we're just finishing off the left over Hershey's Kisses and saving the rest of the candy she got for next week.
