Hunting for Dino Tracks

This morning we went to the San Grabriel River to look for dinosaur tracks. It's about a half mile hike down to the river, but it's definitely worth it. The kids weren't too interested in the tracks, but they had a lot of fun playing in the water and on the dry part of the river bed.

Emmy was a trooper and did her best to keep up with the big kids. I did have to carry her down part of the cliff because it was steep.

Emmy got soaked. She started by just trying to put her face in the water. Then she just sat down in it.

And Emmy--she found lots of rocks she wanted to take home.
