Fourth of July, Pt 1--Nana's Visit and Party at the Neighbors

My mom and one of her friends came to visit for a few days this week. They arrived on Wednesday and left Sunday morning. We had a good visit, and she got to see the girls play for a few days. She also went to Maddy's dance class with us on Thursday so she could watch Maddy dance.

We sat out back Thursday evening and let the girls play in the pool for a while. While they were splashing around, Emmy started teasing Maddy and trying to get her to chase her. I tried to get catch it on tape, but got Emmy going for a dip instead.



Friday morning our subdivision had it's annual bike parade. Freddie and Maddy rode in the parade while my mom and I took Emmy to the park to wait. Here are some pictures from the park and the parade.






Later that afternoon, some neighbors hosted a get together in their yard. There were lots of friends, lots of kids, and lots of food and fun.
