Our Cruise Vacation, Pt. 1

We stayed overnight in Houston and then caught a flight to Miami on Friday. Taking a shuttle from the airport, we finally got on the ship Friday afternoon. Emmy was ready to start partying right away.

But before she got too out of hand, we had to have a drill. We donned our lifejackets and headed to our meeting point--the main dining hall.

The next day was a day at sea. We slept late, explored the ship a little, and enjoyed the sun. Sunday was our first excursion day. It was on Samana, which is part of the Dominican Republic. We explored caves and saw some mangrove trees, and we were able to get to the beach for a little while.
