We have officially entered the world of school projects. Maddy had to create a community diorama a couple of weeks ago, and this week she turned in a personal timeline of her life. It's great to see her get so excited about doing these, and it was a lot of fun to help her out.

For the diorama Maddy chose to do a vet's office. We went to Parmer Lane Pet Hospital and the sweet office staff let us have a quick tour. Maddy decided from there what she wanted to put in the diorama based on what she saw in the office.





For the timeline, we talked about specific events that she wanted to include. Then I printed a bunch of pictures from her birth until just a few weeks ago and she decided on eleven pictures she wanted to use and wrote about them.

She also got her report card this week and it was excellent. We're so proud of how well she's doing in school and how much she's enjoying first grade!
