We had decided to go to Half Moon Bay for the day. On the way there our taxi got a flat tire. It only took about 15 minutes to change it and then we were on our way again.
How many people does it take to change a flat anyway?
Heidi and Maddy sat back to observe the situation.
Our first thought was, does the horse really need gas?
The spot that we went to on Half Moon Bay doesn't have a beach directly in front of it. Instead you walk down a short set of stairs to get to the water. We sat directly above this little pier so we could watch everyone having fun. This is Papa going down to check the water.
On our way back we learned that the president of Honduras was speaking that day on the pier and that they were having a big celebration afterward. He's the man in the blue long sleeved shirt. Can you imagine trying to get this close to the President of the United States?
That night Maddy went to the kids program for a special pirate party they were having. The kids decorated bandanas and then had a pirate parade through the dining room.
