Nothing too exciting has happened this week. Maddy has had Spring Break from her Mother's Day Out so we've been visiting friends and just hanging out at the house. Today we spent the day playing with Play-Do and playing outside. She tried out her new helmet for her bicycle while I was moving some stuff around in the garage. Emmy has been doing her usual thing--sleep, eat, smile and coo, then repeat the process.
For dinner we're having a shrunken roast (for some reason it shrunk to half it's size in the slow cooker), rice, carrots and mushrooms for dinner. We're also trying out the pinot noir that Bryan and Emily got me for my birthday. It's a beautiful evening so we're planning on sitting outside for a while after dinner. Maybe we'll get to meet some more neighbors.
This weekend we have a birthday party to go to, and Maddy has soccer on Sunday. Freddie and I are also going out tomorrow night for a belated birthday dinner for me. We're just looking forward to a relaxing weekend.
