Bittersweet moments...

I had another one a few days ago. It seems like they're happening more often these days. I was walking down the stairs with Maddy when she reached to take my hand. I suddenly realized how big her hand felt in mine. It made me a little sad because she's growing up so fast, but also a little proud. She's becoming such a sweet young lady. I'm still not looking forward to the tween and teen years. We've had so many dramatic moments lately, but I am looking forward to seeing my sweet and smart little girl grow into an intelligent and beautiful grown-up.
