Picture Catch Up--Crowe's Nest Farm

At the end of May, Madalynn and her class went to Crowe's Nest Farm for their field trip. It was a fantastic trip, and Maddy learned so many things that she's still talking about.

One of the barns house tortoises, turtles, lizards, snakes, spiders, and several other animals. After watching a movie welcoming them to the farm, the kids got to look around.

On the hay ride, we saw bison, ostriches, and longhorns.

On our way back, we had to stop for a minute or two to let this turtle cross our path.

The kids learned about milking cows and how technology plays a part.

Lunch time!

After lunch the kids looked around the farm some more. We saw pigs, chickens, goats, pheasants, and other animals. We also took a walk through Faerie Wood, the butterfly gardens, and we saw other gardens like the pizza garden (herbs) and the cactus garden. Why don't I have pictures of those? Because I was too busy trying to keep up with Maddy and her partner, two very excited little girls. :)
