16 week Doc Visit

We heard the heartbeat again today. It sounds really strong and we could hear it without any problems. We will go to a perinatologist in a couple of weeks to have an ultrasound down to check out the baby's heart. This is because Emmy was born with a heart murmur that caught us by surprise. Our OB wants us to have this baby checked out now so that if there are any problems we will know before its birth. When the perinatologist does the ultrasound we'll also be able to find out if it's boy or a girl at that time. Yay!!
