4th of July

On the morning of the 4th, our neighborhood had a bike parade for the kids. It ended by the pool and we had Amy's Ice Cream waiting on us for a snack. Madalynn and Freddie walked in the parade while Emmaline and I watched. Maddy was so excited to ride her bike with all the big kids.



Later in the afternoon we went to a friend's house down in south Austin. The kids played in the pool all afternoon and then we watched fireworks from the top floor of their house. We could see fireworks all the way from Zilker Park down to Kyle and out past the airport. It was the most relaxing 4th of July we've had in a long time.
