On Saturday Grandma watched all the girls (very brave of her to do so) and Freddie and I took Matt and Julie sightseeing. We went to the Whole Foods downtown first so Julie could load up on some goodies. Then we drove through downtown Austin and out to the dam. We met up with the rest of the family for dinner.
On Sunday we did a little more sightseeing and then went over to Poppy and Gigi's for a cookout. The kids played while the adults ate and chatted. We ended the day by going to Dell Diamond so Papa could give us a tour.

Just a note--the baseball gloves Maddy and Cherise are holding in the picture above are their own gloves that Papa gave them, not ones that they snatched from the players. They were very good about not touching anything inside the locker room.
As I said, everyone left on Monday. Stacie is getting settled in her new apartment. Maddy started the summer camp at her Mother's Day Out. She's going 2 days a week and loves it. Emmy is getting better at sitting up on her own but still isn't a fan of being on her tummy. She really doesn't like pushing herself up on her hands, but we're going to keep working on it. And Freddie and I are looking forward to trying some new wines we found at Whole Foods. We picked up some new Malbecs and are waiting for an evening when he gets home early enough to break out a bottle for dinner.

Sounds like a great time was had by all. The girls are getting so big and Maddy looks so much like you. Love the classic bathtub shot. I'm sure Maddy will just love you for that in about 13 yrs. LOL. Ya know I was think the other day about that polaroid your dad took of us sticking our tongue's out at him. We had some good times didn't we?
